The Western North Carolina Parrot Head Club is a regional group of Parrot Heads belonging to the national organization, Parrot Heads in Paradise. PHIP consists of over 200 member clubs (and growing all the time!) in the U.S., Canada, and Australia. The clubs provide a network for like-minded Parrot Heads to enjoy each other’s company, keep current on Buffett’s work and sponsor or participate in events that benefit charities which touch the lives of Parrot Heads, their families, and the whole community of life.

You don’t have to drink to be a Parrot Head. Some of us do, but that’s not what it is about. It’s about being with old friends and meeting new ones. It’s about relaxing and taking in the wonderful world around us. It’s about getting off our cans and doing a little work to help those that aren’t as fortunate as we are. It’s about listening to the words of a song that mean something to you and not letting your dreams fade away.
