Who is Jimmy Buffett?
James William Buffett (December 25, 1946 – September 1, 2023) was an American singer-songwriter, author, and businessman. He was known for his tropical rock sound and persona, which often portrayed a lifestyle described as “island escapism”. He promoted enjoying life, serving others and following our passions.
What is a Parrot Head?
A Parrot Head simply refers to someone who is a fan of Jimmy Buffett’s music, Trop Rock music and the beach lifestyle that he promoted….and they are EVERYWHERE! Flocking around, enjoying life and serving their communities. These crazy tropical attire wearing folks are always smiles from ear to ear and very welcoming to others!
Why are we Parrot Heads?
Being a Parrot Head is also much more. For most Parrot Heads, there is a specific state of mind that comes with their condition. Age has nothing to do with it. It is all about Fun, Music and Charity!
